Forays
Field trips and forays are lead by more experienced members to various locations in the Bay Area and around Northern California, and offer opportunities to learn more about mushrooms, to safely collect and eat mushrooms, and to enjoy good company.
Culinary Group
Our culinary group holds monthly dinner meetings in which participants join in the planning and preparation of gourmet meals, with an attempt to feature dishes which highlight wild mushrooms.
Study Groups
Learn more about the world of the fungi at the study group that meets before the general meeting.
Cultivation Classes
Participate in an active group learning to grow wild mushrooms for home use and study.
Library
Our library contains a comprehensive collection of mycological books and journals which are available to members for home study, and a few rare books which are reserved for reference purposes.
Books
Books on all aspects of the world of mycology are available for purchase at monthly meetings and fungus fairs at a discount price.
